The Position:

As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact between clients and the agency, overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of PR campaigns. You’ll manage client relationships, ensure projects meet objectives, budgets, and deadlines, and lead teams to deliver impactful results. You’ll also lead the internal project team, working with different individuals across the business to ensure seamless execution. This role combines strategic thinking, media relations, and team coordination, with the potential to progress to leadership within the agency.

 

Job Scope:

MEDIA RELATIONS

Understand the Thai media landscape clearly and support the team with approaching media and developing media relationships and strategies.

Stay up-to-date with shifts in the media landscape and adjust strategies to leverage emerging platforms and trends.

 

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

Take full ownership of managing client projects and retainer accounts from start to finish, ensuring that timelines are followed and deliverables and KPIs are met.

Delegate and oversee all elements of the account/project by identifying who on the team is best to assist, briefing them properly and ensuring they have the support they need to complete the task successfully.

Manage the account/project budget to ensure we allocate resources effectively, maximise ROI and minimise out-of-pocket risks to the agency.

 

CLIENT MANAGEMENT

Provide comprehensive PR and communications insight and consultancy to the client with confidence and authority.

Develop a good working relationship with clients built on trust and respect.

 

CONTENT CREATION

Find unique angles and hooks within a client’s narrative to make stories more appealing to the media. Identify and advise on the most appropriate PR/Comms content format and channels.

Review TH and EN content delivered by the team/client/third parties and provide constructive feedback that ensures the best quality of work (support given on EN content by native-speaking team members).

Candidates who can create PR/comms content, including press releases, bylines, articles, speeches, presentations, reports, and other communications materials will be prioritised.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of Corporate Communications experience
  • Experience working in a PR agency environment in a client-facing role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations/Marketing or related fields.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Thai and English.
  • Extensive experience and exposure to local and international media. Experience with digital media outlets will also be beneficial.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and positive attitude to challenges with a strong willingness to learn and think independently.
