Fatimah Alsagoff is Director of Government Affairs Asia at Hasbro, the global play company best known for iconic brands like MAGIC: THE GATHERING, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, Hasbro Gaming, NERF, TRANSFORMERS, and PEPPA PIG. Based in Singapore, she leads Hasbro’s efforts in Asia to shape the policy and regulatory landscape collaboratively with governments; drive impactful thought leadership and public-private partnership; and advance best practices in areas such as toy safety, sustainability, marketing to children, and ethical sourcing across the Asia Pacific region.
Fatimah brings over a decade’s experience advancing policy and regulatory priorities through thought leadership, issues management and advocacy across the Asia Pacific region. At UPS, Fatimah led the government affairs team for North Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand regions covering trade facilitation, customs, transportation, aviation, and the empowerment of small businesses and women in trade. Prior to that, she advocated on issues in customs & trade facilitation and health & life sciences at the US-ASEAN Business Council, both bilaterally and with ASEAN working bodies to shape the policy environment and support the growth of U.S. companies in the region.
Fatimah began her career as a government relations consultant with Vriens & Partners, a Southeast Asia-focused corporate advisory firm, creating and managing regional thought leadership and stakeholder engagement platforms on behalf of clients across Southeast Asia. Fatimah graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Political Science.
