Crystal is the Communications Lead for ASEAN at Cisco, where she is responsible for advancing Cisco’s brand and reputation with powerful storytelling across Southeast Asia. In her role, she drives integrated communications campaigns and messaging across public relations, social media, and executive communications. A creative thinker and one with a knack for connecting the dots, Crystal partners with regional and local leaders on local priorities and ensures that programs are aligned to the overall company priorities.
Prior to her current role, Crystal led communications for the Security and Commercial and Small Business segments for Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China at Cisco, where she was responsible for driving thought leadership across the region. She spearheaded several insights-driven PR campaigns to drive share of voice across the region, including two global thought leadership reports.
Prior to Cisco, Crystal spent over eight years on the agency side, including at WE Communications, where she led key regional and local accounts in the technology, security, aviation, property, and consumer industries. She enjoys working across time zones and has vast experience working with global and regional teams in markets like the Americas, United Kingdom, China, South Korea, Japan, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
Outside of work, Crystal enjoys scuba diving, bouldering, yoga and being in nature. She started mediating two years ago and never looked back, and is passionate about tech, cybersecurity, sustainability, AI ethnics, inclusivity, psychology, and leadership.
