PRCA APAC Intern

JOB PURPOSE

Based in Singapore and reporting to the Events and Engagement Manager, the PRCA APAC Intern will be responsible for managing the marketing channels, assisting with the marketing strategy and helping to deliver PRCA’s events programme in Asia Pacific.

This role will commence in May, will be for at least 4 days a week and we are looking for someone who will be joining the team for ideally beyond 6 months.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing support to the APAC team by helping to develop, maintain, and deliver a busy calendar of events.
  • Writing and updating information on events, conferences, and awards on PRCA APAC website
  • Promoting events to PRCA APAC members and non-members alike by email/mailchimp
  • Maintaining attendee lists
  • Working with the APAC team to support the busy event schedule, including networking events, awards, conferences and webinars.
  • Assisting on marketing, graphic designs, sponsors, and prospects
  • Managing PRCA APAC’s social media platforms; LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Attendance at work and industry events both in working hours and in evenings. Including pre, during and post event.
  • Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the management of the Company.

QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Some experience of event admin, marketing or communications would be preferred but not a must
  • A ‘can do’ attitude, who is willing to get stuck in and contribute positivity towards building a fantastic events and marketing program
  • Personable, with strong interpersonal skills and able to work collaboratively with wide variety of individuals
  • Strong writing, speaking and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • (Preferred) knowledge of email marketing software such as mailchimp
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on several projects concurrently
