Multi Bintang Indonesia Reaps Three National and International Awards

Jakarta, 6 April 2022 – Multi Bintang Indonesia, the producer of the iconic beer brands BINTANG and BINTANG Crystal, in March clinched three awards from two prestigious public relations competitions in the field of communications.

At the PR Indonesia Awards (PRIA) 2022, the #WaktunyaCrystalChill campaign won the Silver Winner category in the Digital PR sub-category. Meanwhile, the Bersama Bali campaign won the Bronze Winner in the Corporate PR category. The #WaktunyaCrystalChill campaign also managed to clinch another award in the Digital and Social Media sub-category at the PRCA APAC Awards 2022.

These two BINTANG campaigns were both based on the Berbeda Bersama philosophy which aims at promoting appreciation and the unification of generational differences in Indonesian society.

The #WaktunyaCrystalChill, campaign that pocketed two awards, is part of a series of BINTANG Crystal launches that is calling on various groups in the society to remain chill and less bitter when facing uncertainties during the pandemic. The launch of the campaign that was conducted digitally had its own attractiveness. Unlike the usual setting where the media and the public come together to directly enjoy the fun of the programs, the

#WaktunyaCrystalChill campaign packages its program in such a way that it remains interesting and interactive for the audience who are taking part from their respective homes.

The same happened with the Bersama Bali campaign of BINTANG PIlsener that was motivated by the Berbeda Bersama spirit. In collaboration with local artists, BINTANG raised relief and assisted Bali residents who were impacted by the pandemic. This collaboration led to the creation of the Bali-themed capsule T-Shirt collection that was sold both online and offline at various clubs in Jakarta and Bali. The proceeds from the sales were entirely matched by Multi Bintang Indonesia and the total channeled through our partner NGO, Rice for Bali, in the form of rice for 20 villages in Bali.

Jessica Setiawan, Multi Bintang Indonesia Marketing Director, expressed her happiness and pride that the brands could win prestigious awards such as from the PR Indonesia Awards and PRCA APAC Awards.
