The objectives of the webinar are to raise standards in LGBTQ+ media communication/representation in the communications industry and wider business world, as well as to learn from leading APAC business brands the guidelines/practices on creating effective campaigns that confront key LGBT issues in the long term -by using the case of Pride Month to avoid falling in the rainbow-wash critical issue. It also aims to raise awareness of the important role the private sector plays in promoting diversity and inclusion of LGBTQ+ people in media, as well as corporate communications.
