In response to the growing imperative to prioritise diversity, equality, and inclusion (DE&I) in the work of all PR professionals, the PRCA APAC DE&I Committee is proud to launch a comprehensive Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DE&I) Charter. This Charter is designed to promote an inclusive and diverse public relations industry across the Asia Pacific region, addressing systemic barriers and guiding industry best practices.
To mark the launch of this pivotal Charter, the PRCA APAC DE&I Committee is hosting a panel discussion titled “DEI: From Checkbox to Core Values”. This event will delve into the transformative impact of DE&I on professional performance and organisational success. By unboxing DE&I, the discussion will explore the journey from the current state to an envisioned future where DE&I is seamlessly integrated into the daily fabric of business operations.
As part of the panel, industry and DE&I experts will discuss:
- An analysis of the current state of DE&I in the PR industry and the vision for the future
- Strategies to transition from superficial DE&I compliance to authentic, impactful implementation
- Innovative training and development programs designed to boost DE&I awareness and competency
- Tangible benefits of DE&I for individuals and organisations including case studies and real-life examples
- Future outlook and steps organisations can take to stay ahead and continue driving DE&I progress
