Corporate Communications Manager

Our client is a leading investment manager across a broad range of asset classes. One of the world’s most admired companies, they are headquartered in the US with 18 international offices.
Based in Singapore, this is a brand new role which will report into the Head of Communications, APAC (who is based in Hong Kong) and will support the development and implementation of an effective communications strategy across key growth markets.
Specific responsibilities include the design and management of media relations strategy; crisis communications and issues management; executive positioning; social/digital communication activities; and the alignment of organic content and thought leadership to editorial themes – tailoring all these to each business and market across APAC.
To succeed in the role, you will have:
- At least 5 years of relevant communications experience, with some in the asset management industry an advantage
- Consultancy/PR agency background is beneficial
- Strong project management skills and the ability to plan and execute campaigns
- Fluency and writing skills in both English and Mandarin
- Relationships with top tier media in Singapore and regionally
- Confidence to interface with local senior business leaders
- Sound understanding of the world and knowledge of geopolitics and macro-economic forces
- Collaborative and independent personality
