Amanda is a Senior Director at GCI Health based in Singapore. With over 14 years of experience, Amanda has built her career as a leading healthcare communications specialist working across various sectors, including pharmaceutical and biotechnology, medical devices, consumer health and wellness, health technology, diagnostics and public health.
Prior to joining GCI Health, Amanda led the health care and food and beverage teams at Edelman Singapore, overseeing some of the company’s large integrated client relationships, including Ajinomoto, Health Promotion Board, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Roche Diabetes Care, Amgen, Sanofi, Baxter, Blackmores, Zenyum, Oatly, Starbucks, amongst others. She has also worked at various global agencies, leading an array of consumer brand accounts to develop and implement strategic integrated campaigns supporting Singapore, Asia Pacific, and Global markets in DeVries Global & Weber Shandwick offices in Singapore and Mumbai and MSL India.
Across her roles, she has worked on product marketing, issues management, market access activities, narrative development, stakeholder mapping, internal and digital communications, executive profiling, and disease awareness.
Amanda completed her bachelor’s in mass media (Advertising specialisation) from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, India. She also works closely with non-profit organisations such as Willing Hearts, TOUCH Centre for Independent Living, Acres, It’s Raining Raincoats, etc., to empower the local communities in Singapore.
