We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Director to join our dynamic team and develop their leadership skills. In this role, you will be a key contributor to Spurwing’s continued success, actively supporting the Leadership Team to grow the business and ensure it continues to thrive.
In this role, you will:
Oversee campaigns for a range of clients under the guidance of the senior team, managing the agency’s relationship with key contacts and ensuring the delivery of consistently excellent work
Be a trusted advisor to your clients, able to provide counsel and manage challenges with confidence and precision
Be a key member of the senior team, ensuring the profitability of your clients and contributing to the financial success of the business
Lead and motivate teams, nurturing and coaching junior members and leveraging our strengths-based culture to ensure they achieve the highest standards of work in their management of projects and clients
Take a proactive role in new business development and the growth of the agency
Who you are:
A well-rounded PR professional, with a solid understanding of the skills required to develop and implement results-driven communications strategies that are in-line with business objectives
You are able to guide clients and teams effortlessly
You have extensive media relations and digital experience, with confidence in designing integrated campaigns across multiple channels
You understand how to measure and analyse success
You pursue excellence in service and thinking, encouraging a growth mindset amongst colleagues and nurturing a passion to constantly find ways to improve
You have strong business acumen, with a desire to generate new business and respond to new business briefs with solid ideas and results-driven strategies
You have at least 7 years relevant experience from a PR agency or in-house communications or external affairs role
