PRCA APAC and CARMA Co-host Exclusive Lunch for Communications Leaders in Kuala Lumpur

The Public Relations and Communications Association of the Asia Pacific (PRCA APAC) and CARMA, a leading media intelligence partner to PR professionals worldwide, recently co-hosted an exclusive PR and communications Leaders’ Lunch at the Horizon Grill, Banyan Tree in Kuala Lumpur.

The high-level gathering brought together influential in-house communications leaders from Touch n Go, Indah Water Konsortium, Volvo, West Coast Expressway, Herbalife and Invictus Leader.

The conversation began with one question: What are the biggest challenges facing communications professionals in Malaysia today? It sparked an honest dialogue on crisis communications in an always-on world and the need for measurement frameworks that truly prove impact.

Jeremiah Rodrigues, General Manager for Malaysia & The Philippines at CARMA, said: “Bringing leaders together in forums like the ones we do in partnership with PRCA is essential in the exchange of ideas on crisis communications and measurement. These discussions not only sharpen our collective thinking, but also strengthen the industry’s ability to demonstrate real impact with confidence.”

Ed Burleigh, Head of PRCA APAC, said:

“This exclusive lunch celebrates our thriving partnership with CARMA across Asia Pacific. On a personal note, it was incredibly valuable to learn more about the specific challenges facing communications teams in Malaysia – it’s such an exciting market, and gaining a deeper understanding will help us better serve the community. Thank you to all our guests for the lively discussion and invaluable insights. We look forward to continued collaboration with CARMA and future initiatives in Malaysia.”
