SEOUL, 17 January 2023 – Weber Shandwick, today, announced the promotion of Elizabeth Bae to managing director for its South Korea operations.
As managing director, Bae will report to Tyler Kim, CEO, Asia Pacific, Weber Shandwick and will oversee the operational, strategic and growth strategy for the Korean business.
Having joined the business in October 2020 as EVP, South Korea, Bae soon took on the role of deputy managing director where she continued to lead the corporate practice for the market, supported the firms’ multi-market clients for outward expansion and oversaw the business operations. Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Bae led BCW Korea’s business operations in the Korean market.
