SINGAPORE, 11th April, 2024 – The Public Relations and Communications Association Asia Pacific (PRCA APAC) is pleased to announce that The Hoffman Agency’s Bernice Tay and Lim Jia Yi have won the Singapore Young Lions PR Competition 2024 for their “ Creating FoodMarks” campaign. The winning team will go on to represent the Singapore at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Responding to a brief set by Grow Asia, each team had 24 hours to create a campaign that would help to enhance Grow Asia’s profile among the public
and private sectors, establishing it as a preferred partner for food systems-related programs across Southeast Asia.

The teams then had to pitch their campaigns to the official jury for the Singapore Young Lions Competition 2024.

A special thank you to the judges:

Lee Nugent, Regional Director, APAC- Archetype, commented –“Once again, the judges were blown away by the talent on show. If the teams shortlisted are in any way representative of young professionals working in communications across APAC, then the future our industry is in very safe hands. Congratulations to all who took part and best of luck to the winning team for the next stage for the Young Lions competition. Go get ‘em!”

Lim Jia Yi, Senior Account Executive and Bernice Tay, Account Manager, The Hoffman Agency said: “The Singapore Young Lions PR Competition 2024 was an incredible 24 hours that really tested our strategic and creative muscles. It would have been worth it for the experience alone, as the topic of food security championed by Grow Asia is close to our hearts – but winning the competition made it even more memorable. We are thankful to everyone at The Hoffman Agency for their support and encouragement as we pushed ourselves to unearth the perfect insight and big idea. Having both started our professional careers at Hoffman, this win is testament to how much we’ve grown. We are so excited to represent Singapore at the Cannes Young Lions Competition 2024!”
