ASIA PACIFIC, 11 October 2022– The Public Relations and Communications Association Asia Pacific (PRCA APAC) has partnered with the Strategic Communications Academy (SCA) to offer members access to a training platform that combines the best of on-demand and in-person learning experiences. SCA works with progressive organisations to provide talent with a structured training programme and curriculum. The programme covers hard and soft skills as well as capabilities related to the practice of strategic communications and public relations in Asia.
Available through a browser anywhere with a data connection, learners can access over 150 different courses on skills and topics. These range from writing, positioning and messaging, project management, media relations, issues management, crisis communications and more.
This is complemented by a ‘workplace techniques’ content series covering topics such as leadership, team management, hybrid working, presentation skills and mindfulness.
Training is delivered by a group of instructors and coaches through a Learning Management System and digital desk.
- All courses are created with proprietary methodology and content that uses our topic x skill set x application’ framework
- Instructors have a minimum of 15 years’ experience across corporate, agency or journalism backgrounds.
- Our Digital Desk helps with skills, or application questions and can be designated as a ‘first stop’ to answer questions
Through the partnership, PRCA APAC members will enjoy an additional 10 – 20 percent of credits added to their SCA account depending on customisation, needs and other options. Interested members can contact us at a tara.munis@prca.global for the additional credits.
