SINGAPORE – 26th February 2024 – The PRCA APAC Technology Group announces a significant leadership transition as Nicolas Chan, Chief Strategist & Head of Digital APAC at The Hoffman Agency, steps down from his role as Chair. Taking his place will be Yanina Blaclard, Director of Marketing and Communications at Horizon Quantum Computing, who brings with her a wealth of experience as an active committee member.

Nicolas Chan has played a pivotal role in steering the group since its inception in October 2022, leveraging his expertise to drive initiatives and foster collaboration within the industry. His dedication and support have been instrumental in shaping the group’s direction and impact.

In expressing gratitude for Nicolas Chan’s contributions, PRCA APAC acknowledges his unwavering commitment and invaluable insights, which have been fundamental in advancing the group’s mission.

Yanina Blaclard, who has been deeply involved in the group’s activities, now assumes the role of Chair with a vision to further enhance the group’s initiatives and engagement. With her expertise in communications on various new technologies, and in particular quantum computing, coupled with her active participation in the committee, Yanina brings a renewed perspective and strong leadership to the position.

Launched as a volunteer-led initiative, the PRCA APAC Technology Group aims to strengthen the expertise of industry professionals to provide insights into technology-related PR and communications trends. The group’s objective is to support members working in the B2B and B2C technology sectors by facilitating knowledge-sharing, networking opportunities, and elevating the quality of work delivered within the industry.

As the group enters this new chapter under Yanina Blaclard’s leadership, PRCA APAC reaffirms its commitment to fostering collaboration and driving excellence within the technology PR and communications landscape.
