A former Head of Public Relations at award-winning PR and marketing agencies, Vanessa specialises in integrated communications, crisis communications and philanthropy for the past 13 years. Apart from working with local and multinational commercial clients, she has helped numerous resource-scarce nonprofits raise much-needed publicity and funds by improving their communications and fundraising capabilities. She currently serves as a Chairperson for the Fundraising Committee of an established mental health and suicide prevention agency, Samaritans of Singapore. Recently graduated with an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford and a Master in Social Sciences with a specialisation in philanthropy from the National University of Singapore, Vanessa utilises business and communications skills for the greater good. Her contributions to the nonprofit sector earned her a JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World (Singapore) Award in 2015.
