Vanessa Wan is Senior Director & Head of Integrated Marketing & Communications, Asia Pacific at STMicroelectronics, leading a team across the region focused on growing ST’s brand, reputation, customer engagement and demand creation. She has held this position since November 2023.
Vanessa joined ST from General Electric (GE) where she was Executive Director, Communications, Asia Pacific. Prior to GE, she spent close to 13 years at Shell where she held roles across communications, stakeholder relations, crisis management, brand and social performance. Before Shell, Vanessa was Head of Communications at the Singapore Economic Development Board. She has also worked in the hospitality, logistics and consumer goods sectors, including a stint in Hong Kong.
Vanessa is Vice President of the Institute of Public Relations of Singapore (IPRS).
Vanessa graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a Master’s Degree in Communication Management from the Annenberg School for Communication, and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, and Social Sciences & Communication. She completed the Corporate Affairs Academy at the University of Oxford in 2024.
