The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has launched a new initiative for PRCA SEA members

Singapore, 11th May, 2020 – The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has launched a new initiative for PRCA SEA members. Some companies have had to make job cuts, redundancies or enforce unpaid leave on staff due to the impact of COVID-19.

The PRCA’s latest measure to support the industry through the COVID-19 crisis is its ‘PRCA Complimentary Care Package.’ This offer gives employees who have had significant cuts to their salary, are currently taking unpaid leave, or being affected in another way due to COVID-19 access to a broad range of PRCA webinars until 1st June, 2020.

The offer is open to all practitioners, regardless of whether their employer is a PRCA corporate member or not.

PRCA Director General, Francis Ingham MPRCA, said:

“We are determined to do everything possible to support our industry. By offering staff affected unlimited free access to all of our training webinars between now and the end of the month, we’ll help them keep their skills up to date; stay in contact with fellow professionals; and fill some of their undesired downtime in a productive and often fun way. We’d encourage practitioners and their employers to take full advantage of this opportunity.”

The move follows the PRCA’s decision to offer six months’ free individual membership to anyone adversely affected by the crisis.

We would love to support you and your teams through this time.
