A must-read report providing international business leaders with valuable insights into critical communication challenges and opportunities from the perspective of expert practitioners in the Asia Pacific region
Hong Kong, 18 June 2024 – The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) APAC has launched its first-ever Asia-Pacific focused report on Reputation titled ‘Reputation: The APAC Perspectives Report 2024’.
This comprehensive report aims to provide insights into the importance of corporate and brand reputation in the APAC region, along with the key opportunities and challenges for practitioners. It is based on the insights and opinions of brand and agency communications leaders based in the region and defines the concept of reputation in Asia-Pacific through the lens of communications.
The report identifies the key communication challenges faced by corporate reputation practitioners and offers effective ways to address them. It also highlights the programmes and initiatives that communicators are prioritising in 2024 and identifies significant trends in communications that corporate reputation practitioners should keep an eye on to leverage growth opportunities.
Key challenges and opportunities identified include the rapid evolution of technology such as AI, the intentional power of DEI, and the growing need for expertise in ESG communications.
Kiri Sinclair, FPRCA, Chair of PRCA APAC Reputation Group, and Founder & CEO of Sinclair said, “We are delighted to launch the inaugural Reputation: The APAC Perspectives Report in an attempt to ‘define’ reputation in the Asia-Pacific through the lens of communication leaders from and within the region. This report is a collection of insights from 30 industry leaders based across the Asia-Pacific region.
Their insights allow others to understand the region’s challenges and opportunities firsthand. This report provides unparalleled viewpoints, empowering businesses with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions and succeed in today’s highly competitive and ever-changing landscape.
Our objective was three-fold; to better understand how communications professionals across this diverse region view their role; to document opportunities and threats to reputation for businesses and people operating in the region in the year ahead; and to define reputation as it is conceived by APAC industry leaders.”
This report is a valuable resource for anyone interested in brand reputation and is available for download on PRCA APAC website at: https://apac.prca.global/reputation-the-apac-perspectives-report-2024/
