World Mental Health Day is observed on 10 October every year, with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilising efforts in support of mental health.
Mental health is a very important issue for the PRCA – and indeed the PR and communications world as a whole. Following our recent survey carried out by YouGov, the PRCA APAC aims to help support the PR industry in the region.
PRCA APAC’s inaugural Mental Health report will be launched on Monday 11th October.
The report comes at a time of extra focus on mental health, with the COVID-19 pandemic posing huge personal and professional challenges to PR and communications practitioners across the world.
As we move through the pandemic and cope with our fast-moving and high-pressure environments, there’s an urgency for everyone – both employers and staff – to put mental well being at the top of the agenda.
PRCA APAC worked with YouGov to survey a total of 1,187 PR and communications professionals across the Asia PAcific region between 21 July and 16 August 2021.
