Deje is an experiential communications marketer, bringing his more than 25 years of well-rounded experience from both the client’s and agency’s side of the business, covering different sets of communications channels from PR, Digital, ATL and BTL experiences.
Prior to this, Deje was the Managing Director of Verve and Chameleon and was the Business Director for Brands in Edelman Indonesia, the newly set holistic communication consulting business of Edelman Indonesia.
His long list of agency life in Burson-Marsteller, McCann Digital, Weber-Shandwick/Golin and Publicis has also provided him eligible encounters in various industries, not only in Indonesia, but also across South East Asia.
Holder of an undergraduate degree in Faculty of Political and Social Science from University of Indonesia, he also has a client-side experience such as in XL Axiata, where he was the Corporate Communications Manager for more than 7 years. Hence, the tech & digital communications are his forte, with many tracks of handling various tech brands such as Samsung, Huawei, Qualcomm, also some unicorns and fintech brands.
Known as a communications-related trainer, his rich experience in handling crisis communications, community management, CSR programs and many communications works has brought a great learning both in strategy & tactics
Some foot prints of his hard work were work recognised as The Best Viral Video Campaign for Opera Software in 2016 and The Best CSR program for XL Axiata in 2010 and 2011. He brought Verve a silver medal as The Best PR Agency of 2018. Recently, H+K Strategies Indonesia won an APAC Sabre Award for Telkomsel’s Corporate PR campaign & PR Awards Asia for Samsung’s Foldables campaign, which supervised closely by Deje.
This automotive enthusiast is also active in several organizations and communities, in influential level, which is aligned with his passion in digital communications.
