ABOUT THE ROLE

Midas PR is looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to join our fast-growing, multinational PR and integrated communications agency. This is a mid-level, client-facing role, ideal for someone with 1–2 years of PR experience (preferably agency side) who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities, support pitch development, and help articulate our services clearly and convincingly to prospective clients. This role requires a commercially minded self-starter who is both creative and strategic, with a natural ability to build relationships, think on their feet, and communicate with clarity and confidence.

You should be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing both up and down. Fluency in both Thai and English is essential, and proficiency in additional languages is a bonus. This role involves working with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, so cultural fluency and adaptability are key.

Day-to-day tasks:

  • Support and manage the end-to-end business development process, from opportunity identification to pitch delivery and follow-up
  • Clearly and confidently communicate our agency’s capabilities, services, and value proposition to prospects
  • Work with client servicing and leadership teams to shape compelling proposals and presentations
  • Conduct market research and prospect profiling to uncover business opportunities and insights
  • Maintain internal business development trackers and ensure timelines and deadlines are met
  • Participate in and contribute to prospect meetings, events, and networking opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals reflect an integrated communications approach
  • Help optimise internal processes for outreach, pitching, and lead nurturing
  • Provide support for agency visibility initiatives (awards, PR, social, partnerships)
  • Track and report on business development progress and KPIs

ABOUT YOU

  • 1–2 years’ experience in PR, communications, or business development – agency experience strongly preferred
  • Bilingual in Thai and English; other languages are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Commercially minded with an understanding of client needs and agency services
  • Ability to identify and act on new business opportunities
  • Highly organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Ambitious and self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team
  • Interest in integrated communications and how PR fits into the wider marketing ecosystem
  • Culturally aware and confident engaging with stakeholders from different nationalities and seniority level
