SYDNEY, 20th AUGUST 2024 – Strategic communications agency Archetype is partnering with Australian startup BillWill, the world’s first Open Banking solution for pre-death bill planning. BillWill helps Aussies identify and plan for what happens to their bills and subscriptions once they are gone, tackling an issue that has historically left the bereaved with 50+ hours of painful admin as they sort through electricity and phone bills, countless subscriptions and more during a time of grief.
For BillWill’s launch, Archetype draws on its expertise in public relations, digital marketing, and media buying, combined with its experience in the tech sector. The ability to handle all services under one roof with a unified team allows the agency to be agile and responsive—qualities crucial for start-ups.
BillWill’s founder, Colin Jowell, came up with the idea for BillWill following the death of his father, when a single bill took months to shut. After experiencing the challenge of managing his accounts during a difficult time, he wanted to spare other families from this painful experience.
The partnership between Archetype and BillWill is a reunion of sorts for Jowell and Archetype Principal Consultant Jillian Nalty, who worked together over a decade ago at the same ad agency. “When I found out that Colin was launching BillWill, I knew I had to reach out. Not every tech start-up has the potential for connecting with audiences on a human-level, BillWill does,” said Nalty.
