PRCA launches NextGen Global Creative Challenge
Singapore, 14th April 2020 – The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has announced a global competition, NextGen Global Creative Challenge, to inspire and celebrate the industry’s creativity, in partnership with PRovoke Media. The move follows Cannes Lions Festival’s decision to cancel this year’s event.
Regional competition rounds will be hosted across the world by PRCA UK, PRCA LATAM, PRCA MENA, and PRCA SEA on 9th July, 2020. Other Associations will be invited to do via the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO).
The regional champions will then compete for the global title.
Director General Francis Ingham MPRCA, said:
“Our industry, like the broader world, has been going through a difficult and challenging time, but we believe it’s still important to pause and recognise the creative genius of so many PR professionals.
“In partnership with PRovoke Media, our NextGen Global Creative Challenge will provide a fun and competitive opportunity for creatives to deliver a great campaign in just 24 hours.”
ICCO President, Nitin Mantri, said:
“Tough times require out of the box thinking. Not easy at all, but full marks to PRCA for originality. With awards, festivals, and events cancelled, PR professionals are left with no outlet for their imagination and artistry. This Challenge organised by the PRCA along with PRovoke will give young communicators the opportunity to develop their creative skills and experience, and also have some much-required fun amid the continued uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 outbreak.”
