PRCA APAC Diversity & Culture Group Launches

ASIA PACIFIC, 26th January, 2026 – The Public Relations and Communications Association Asia Pacific (PRCA APAC) has announced the relaunch of its PRCA APAC Diversity & Culture Group, bringing together the former Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Group and Workplace Cultures Group under a single, unified umbrella.

The relaunched Group reflects the evolving realities of the communications industry and aims to take a more holistic approach to diversity. Beyond representation, the Group will look to dedicate resources to diversity of thought, cultural intelligence, inclusive workplace cultures and ensuring that Asia-Pacific perspectives are meaningfully represented in global industry conversations.

The move comes as PRCA APAC responds to growing demand from members for more nuanced, regionally grounded discussions around culture, leadership, and inclusion. By merging the two Groups, PRCA APAC aims to reduce fragmentation, strengthen impact and create a clearer mandate for action across the region.

The PRCA APAC Diversity & Culture Group will serve as a forum for knowledge-sharing, dialogue and practical guidance for PR and communications professionals navigating increasingly multicultural teams, clients, and markets. Planned initiatives will include thought leadership, member events, industry insights, and collaboration with PRCA networks globally.

Founding Members include:

  • Isabelle Demaude, Head of Executive Training & Development, The Hoffman Agency (Chair)
Zsofia   Balatoni, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) & Co-Founder, Rothman & Roman Group

  • Lee Nugent, Founding Director, Stretford Advisory
  • Dev Atinaja. Director of Public Relations, Mutant (Philippines)
  • Jasmeet (Jasmine) Kaur, CEO & Founder, Kaur Advisory

Commenting on the relaunch, Isabelle Demaude, Chair of the newly formed Diversity & Culture Group, said:

“Diversity and culture cannot be addressed in silos. As our industry becomes more global and more complex, we need to broaden how we define inclusion – from who is represented, to how decisions are made, voices are heard and cultures are understood. This Group will aim to bring those conversations together, with a strong APAC lens at its core.”

Tara Munis, Head of PRCA Asia Pacific added:

“Asia-Pacific offers an extraordinary diversity of cultures, leadership styles, and ways of working. Ensuring those perspectives are part of global discussions is not just important – it’s essential for the future of our industry.”

The PRCA APAC Diversity & Culture Group will work closely with PRCA member agencies, in-house teams, and global counterparts to champion more inclusive, culturally intelligent practices across the communications profession.
