PR firm YAP Global sets up Asia-Pacific Hub to demystify DeFi, Blockchain, and Crypto for the world
YAP Global expands team intentionally ahead of forecasted growth up to four times its current revenues in 12 months
ASIA-PACIFIC, 22nd Feb 2022 – YAP Global, a leading independent PR agency specialising in cryptocurrency and decentralised finance (DeFi) clients, has expanded its team internationally by setting up a hub in Asia-Pacific (APAC) with six team members led by Account Manager Gemma Lo (formerly from industry heavyweight Hill and Knowlton).
Since the start of 2022, the boutique agency which was founded in 2018 by CEO Samantha Yap, has quadrupled in size to a team of over 25 and grown its revenue exponentially in the last financial year while staying fully independent.
New additions to the team for the APAC hub office include Joey Woo, Niroshini De Silva, Ruby Wu, Debra Nita, Farhan Musa, and Cheong Cheng Jie, with a broad range of experiences from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Astro Malaysia Holdings, Shopee, and more.
“Most Crypto Trade publications are predominantly based in the US, Europe, and UK region, therefore media coverage on cryptocurrencies, DeFi and web 3.0 has had a focus on organisations in that part of the world.
