Alvin Lee, Head of External Affairs, Asia Pacific at HERE Technologies is based in Singapore. As part of the HERE’s Brand team, the External Affairs mission is to support HERE’s business activities, especially linking public sector players, while focusing on advocacy and relevant interfaces with governments and providing regulatory and strategic advice to HERE’s management team. Alvin is an active member of the EU-ASEAN Business Council, ITS Singapore, European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, and most recently appointed Chairman of EuroCham Singapore’s Smart Mobility Committee. Alvin also serves on the Autonomous Vehicle Industry Insights Group for Australia’s National Transport Commission and the Singapore Land Transport Authority’s Technical Reference 68 Autonomous Vehicle Working Group.

Alvin joins HERE from the LEGO Group where he was Director of Government and Public Affairs for Asia Pacific. To enhance the reputation of the toy industry, Alvin also co-founded the Southeast Asia Toy Association (SEATA) where he served as its first Chairman. Prior to LEGO, Alvin was formerly Microsoft Devices/Nokia’s Head of Communications for Asia Pacific and Time Warner’s Executive Director for International Relations and Public Policy for Asia Pacific.
Alvin was born and raised Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and was educated at the University of British Columbia.
